FAQ's

When flying international, which airport in Miami is easiest to use?

There are two main options to fly into Miami, Opa-Locka Airport (OPF) and Miami international (MIA). While both airports have Customs officials and can handle international flights, Miami international has a larger Customs operation and usually moves quicker than the Opa-Locka Customs, which is a call-out service that can sometimes take a bit longer.

What is the best type of aircraft to use to fly into Miami?

The best aircraft to use to fly into Miami is determined more by where you are leaving from and how many people will be travelling with you on the aircraft. For instance, if you are chartering a jet from New York City to Miami with 5 people and light luggage I would recommend a Light Jet, if you had 7 or 8 passengers on the aircraft I would suggest a Midsize Jet.

I am flying into Miami on business and time is of the essence, which airport should I use?

While Opa-Locka is the preferred charter airport in Miami but it is about 10 minutes farther from downtown. Although Opa-Locka is farther from Miami it is usually quicker to get in and out of due to lack of commercial travel and the ground traffic associated with it.

I will be in Miami for a few days and need a nice rental car, can you have a car waiting for me or do I have to pick it up somewhere else?

We can have a rental car waiting at the FBO for you upon your arrival into either airport in Miami. We have access to many different vehicles including sports cars, luxury sedans and SUVs and even a large variety of convertibles to enjoy the Miami weather.
